  1. I am looking at purchasing a gutted 1962 aloha and it looks just like yours. Do you happen to know the weight and tongue weight? I need more work on mine than you did on yours, but I am hoping to get it for around $300. It needs new tires and a completely new inside. I am debating on this trailer verses a 1968 Jet trailer, same length, but the inside is all intact. Any advice you can give would help! Thanks!

  2. Hi Cheri... First off, I do not know the trailer or tongue weights. Sorry...

My recommendation would be to go with the trailer you feel you love. And if you don't have strong feelings one way or the other for either one, then definitely go with the one that will require the least amount of time, money, and work.

When you buy one of these old gems with plans to refurbish it or just spruce it up, it is almost a given that you will invest more into it than you'll ever get back. It really needs to be a labor of love.

So all of that being said, follow your heart and the decision will be right. :-)
