Next!!

I'm finally going to do it!  Today I purchased all the materials to FINALLY add a fresh-water tank and water pump to the Aloha.  This will allow us to camp without having to be at an RV park.

Wish me luck!!

  1. Where did you buy the fresh-water tank and water pump from? Did you have to purchase a new wall fill on the exterior as well?

  2. Hi Sophia... I bought the tank and pump at a local RV supply store. Yes, I had to purchase a new wall fill for the exterior since the way I set it up did not work with the existing fill.

  3. Thanks for replying and having this blog up. It has helped me out a lot so far. I just purchased an 1965 Aloha and I'm in love. But I need all the help I can get to fix this camper up. Are you happy with the water tank you purchased? If so, could you tell me the make and model as well as for the water fill? I need to purchase one and am having no luck at supply stores. Thanks

  4. Here are a couple of links that might help you with those items. I purchased a plain ol' 10-gallon water tank (limited space) and the fill they had on the shelf.

The water tanks can positioned two ways depending on your space. You'll want the fill opening and the vent opening at the top and the drain opening and the out-flow for your water pump on the bottom. The description will give you information on the sizes of tubing.
